Sarah's First Sign

When I picked up Sarah from daycare today, they told me she signed "milk"! We are really fortunate to have her in a great daycare that works so well with the babies. We get a list every week of the "curriculum" and it usually has one or two signs that go with that week's theme. Which has been helpful, since I am learning the signs myself!

This is so exciting! The baby signing book I have read said that most babies will do their first sign between 9 and 12 months if you start early. She has been waving "bye bye" for a few weeks now, so it makes sense that she would start connecting other motions with words too. I am one proud mama. =)
