This weekend we went to
Devine Acres Farm in Devine, TX (Where else?). In the past we have gone to The
South Texas MAiZE in Hondo (fun but not as much stuff for little ones) and the
Love Creek Orchards in Medina (fun, but can be crowded and a bit far of a drive).
The farm was so nice! Not as big as Love Creek, but still lots to do. The food was great (I had a delicious hamburger) and would be perfect if they stole Love Creeks yummy apple pie soft serve ice cream! Unfortunately I didn't get as many pics as I wanted since Jake started SCREAMING the second I took him out of the stroller to feed him! It took a good 30 minutes to calm him down. I had to take him back to the car and try to feed him where it was cooler and quieter and it still took a while to get him to stop crying. I am still not sure what the problem was, but he was fine after that!
So I missed Danielle, Sarah and my niece, Kara, at the pond doing catch and release fishing. Danielle and Kara both caught something and I am told they almost got Sarah to kiss a fish (ewwww).
So by the time Jake and I caught back up with the group they were at the HUGE shaded playground that had maybe 10 HUGE oak trees. I am talking trunks at least 4 feet across.

We also went on the hayride to check out the farm. They have a huge amount of gorgeous Christmas trees that are available to cut yourself at Christmas time.
So after a few hours it was time to pick out pumpkins to take home and take some pictures (since I didn't get them at the beginning). As you can imagine, after 3 hours of running around Sarah was NOT interested in sitting still for pictures!

| It was all Kara could do to keep Sarah on her lap! |

| Danielle and Jake. Danielle made a cute spider clip for her hair! |
Even Mark said he had a good time =P so we may have to make it back out there next year.
Oh fun! I want to go check it out!
