Off to the Doctor for Sarah's 9 month check-up. There typically isn't any more shots until 1 year, but it is the start of flu season, so Sarah received the first of a two shot series. We go back next month for the second. Dr. Beck expects they may have the H1N1 shots in the office early November, but that San Antonio may be past the peak for it by then, so he doesn't know yet if he is going to recommend getting it. Sarah is now 22 lbs and almost 29 inches long.
As far as development, it amazes me how quickly she is learning. Just this morning I was singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and she started doing the spider and rain movements right along with me. She also love clapping along to "If You're Happy and You Know It". She is now a pro at giving "high fives" and clapping when you start the cheer. She will also pick out the correct toy when I ask her "Where is your ducky?"
I received the rest of the wonderful pictures Beth took for Sarah's 9 month shots. They are super cute as always! Here are a few more of them...

Her eyes are so beautiful...
